SCOE Launches Early Education Teacher Development Pathways Program

Solano Early Education Teacher Development Pathways Program

Solano County Office of Education (SCOE) has been awarded an Early Education Teacher Development (EETD) competitive grant by the California Department of Education, in the amount of $1,054,720.  EETD funding will be used to increase the number of highly qualified California State Preschool Programs (CSPP) and transitional kindergarten (TK) teachers in Solano County.

The Early Education Teacher Development Pathways Program is a stipend program open to those teaching young children, including; TK-3rd teachers, preschool teacher assistants, para-educators, family child care, and family, friend, and neighbor caregivers in Solano County.

Applicants may be eligible for a stipend in one of these areas: 

Professional Development 
ECE Coursework Completion 
Associate or Bachelor Degree Attainment 
Completion of Credential Program or Child Development Permit 

Program applicants must attend one of two orientation dates.
