Special Education Schools & Programs

The Adult Program serves 18-22 year old students with intellectual disabilities and/or autism who have received a Certificate of Completion from high school and have significant needs for support as they transition to adulthood. 

The SCOE Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HH) Program is designed to develop strong, independent, and individual learners. Our programs focus on the whole child and his/her natural language acquisition. 

Irene Larsen special education center primarily services children, birth to five years of age. The campus hosts infant-toddler programs and preschool programs. The center also houses a post-secondary program for young adults with developmental disabilities.

The Me Too Program for infants and toddlers operates as part of California’s Interagency Early Start Program. Special education services provided through our program are based on the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) to provide early intervention services. 

The special education infant, toddler and preschool programs at T.C. Mc Daniel are designed to provide rich and meaningful educational experiences, based on play that will enhance children's social skills, self-esteem and overall growth and development.

The Solano County Office of Education (SCOE) preschool classes provide specialized instruction for children from 3 to 5 years of age who have developmental delays in cognitive, motor, language, social, and/or adaptive skills.
