Elementary School Spelling Bee

The 46th Annual Solano County Elementary School Spelling Bee is open to all fourth through sixth grade students enrolled in public or private schools within Solano County.

Schools must register here to participate by Friday, December 10, 2021.

The Spelling Bee will consist of two rounds:

  • Round 1 will be a preliminary round held virtually on Saturday, March 26, 2022 (time TBD). The top 2 spellers from each school will be eligible to participate in Round 1. Each student will be given a list of words to spell with point values based upon level of difficulty. Spellers will need to have both video and audio capabilities  for Round 1.
  • Round 2 will be the championship round held  on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 (location and time TBD). We are working on an in-person competition with limited attendance and live streaming capabilities for additional guests.

Updated Rules and Regulations coming soon!
