Friday Night Live (FNL) Mentoring provides opportunities for young people to be in ongoing, mutually beneficial, caring relationships which strengthen a young person's resiliency to the challenges they face in life.

Research shows that mentoring can have a positive impact on the lives of young people, including significant reductions in school absenteeism, better school attitudes and behaviors, reduction in drug and alcohol use and less likelihood of committing crimes. Mentoring relationships positively change the lives of the youth involved!
A mentor is someone who, in addition to parents/guardians, provides a young person with guidance, support, friendship, counsel, and acts as a positive role model. A mentor is wise, a trusted friend, someone who cares, is reliable and helps a mentee set and achieve goals.

- 98% of youth matched with mentors did not become a teen parent
