Parenting can be extremely rewarding and enjoyable, but it is not always easy.  It can also be demanding, frustrating, and exhausting.  Positive Parenting is an approach to being a parent that promotes children’s development and manages children’s behavior and emotions in a constructive and non-hurtful way.

 

Children who grow up with positive parenting are likely to develop the skills they need to do well at school, build friendships, and feel good about themselves.  Parents who learn to use positive parenting skills typically feel more confident and competent in managing daily parenting tasks with less stress and conflict.
