The objectives of this free STEAM CoP for ExLP coordinators and staff are to deepen the STEAM CoP participants’ knowledge, skills, and confidence to facilitate meaningful STEAM activities in their own program, collaborate with other Expanded Learning program participants to develop a cohesive Expanded Learning program that includes CA Quality Standards for Expanded Learning, Growth Mindset, Socio-EmotionalLearning, Universal Design for Learning and Social Justice. Quarterly 2-hour sessions with hands-on STEAM activities will be conducted in person. The products or outcomes of these sessions can be directly used or modified to suit the participants’ own program needs.
MEETING DATES:
- Tuesday, October 7, 2025 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Wednesday, January 14, 2026 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Thursday, March 19, 2026 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
For this session, it will be held during the exhibition of the annual, 2026 Solano County Science and Engineering Fair exhibition, at the Solano County Fairgrounds,
McCormack Hall. (No entrace fee & parking is free)
