STEAM Discovery Festival
SCOE is co-sponsoring this year’s STEAM Discovery Festival with Benicia Makerspace. This event aims to stimulate interest among people of all ages on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM). It is a celebration of invention, curiosity, and creativity.
Solano Youth Art Showcase
This event for students will showcase youth art including music, dance, photography, spoken word and much more.
Girls In Robotics Leadership (GIRL) Camps
Solano students can join free C-STEM Girls in Robotics Leadership Camps. Girls meet other students and mentors, as well as learn computing and STEM concepts through a fun and exciting robotics-based curriculum.
Inclusion Film Camps
Solano County Office of Education partnered with Inclusion Films to bring a film making camp to young adults with developmental disabilities. Short Film Camp brings students on set to practice scripts and create a movie. Campers don't just learn about film making; they further their confidence and independence with collaboration, writing, job roles, and so much more.
Solano Outdoor Explorer Quest
Join the quest! Solano Outdoor Explorer Quest is an outdoor treasure hunt featuring videos about native plants and animals.
Work-Ready Certificate Program
The Work-Ready Certificate Program for students is a three week workshop that helps students locate job opportunities, learn interview skills and develop a resume.
Solano Youth Resiliency Summit
The 2021 Summit is part of SCOE's Art is Power series and will cover a wide range of workshops on topics affecting youth and their community as well as develop skills that strengthen resilience and create positive change.
Academic Decathlon
The Academic Decathlon, a competitive event, modeled after the Olympics, designed to stimulate academic achievement and honor "athletes of the mind".
Science & Engineering Fair
The Solano Science and Engineering Fair is a competition showcasing projects and exhibits developed by students. Qualifying students from this fair will be eligible to enter the California State Science and Engineering Fair.
Solano Student Art Faire
Engaging in art can be an outlet for creativity, expression, communication, critical thinking , and civic engagement for students of all ages. The Solano Student Art Faire provides an opportunity for students across Solano County to exhibit their creations. The annual event celebrates the unique perspectives of students across our community.
Solano Youth Coalition
Solano Youth Coalition (SYC) is comprised of youth from Solano County high schools and colleges, and its mission is to raise public awareness and advocate safe and healthier choices in our communities.
